Outpatient Therapist/Counselor

Overview
Help individuals and families in your role as a counselor at Chestnut. This full-time position is based in Bloomington, IL. Primarily weekdays/daytime hours.
Responsibilities
Provide therapy indicated in treatment/recovery/safety plan. Includes individual, family and group counseling. Facilitate skills and educational groups. Develop master treatment plans and continuing care plans. Maintain contact with clients collaterals (e.g. probation, family members, psychiatrist). Testify in court when requested. Demonstrate project management capability or leadership potential.
Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness.
Qualifications
Master s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field with at least 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience. Basic computer experience including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat; and an electronic medical record. Must have valid driver s license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
